Well done the indoor first team! Second in the league for the second year running. Perhaps we can go one step further next year and represent Hertfordshire in the national indoor knockout competition! This year's winners Ware are due to meet the winners of the Middlesex indoor league.
We are sad to report the passing of Chris Gibson on New Year's Day after his long fight against cancer. Chris has been the much loved publican at The Fox Inn in Matching Tye since 2002. He was a great friend and supporter of Matching Green CC and will be sorely missed. Our sympathy goes out to his family and friends.

Pavilion gets the GREEN light
At last, after 7 years of discussion and negotiation, we have permission to build our new pavilion on the green. It's "all hands to the pump" now to help raise the necessary funds.
The committee are already hard at work exploring possible sources of funding. If any members have thoughts they'd like to share we'd be delighted to hear from you. Your support at all fundraising events is paramount.
