We are delighted to learn that MGCC Vice President Richard Morgan has been awarded a MBE in the New Years Honours list.

Richard is a long-serving parish councillor and a former chairman of Epping Forest District Council.

Currently the representative of the Hastingwood, Matching and Sheering Village ward, Cllr Morgan was first elected to the district council in May 1983.

A retired magistrate, he continues to be involved with court work and is also a member of the Stansted Airport Community Trust. 

Richard, brother of David, is a keen, valued supporter of our club and we are extremely proud to say as much.
