Hi all

At last we are in a position to start playing cricket! However, it will be with a difference and there are Covid-19 restrictions in place to ensure we conduct ourselves in a safe manner.

I have attached a pdf detailing these restrictions and I ask you to please read them and to take notice.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, if you do have any Covid symptoms you should stay at home and self-isolate for 14 days.

The restrictions may seem archaic and limiting, but they are a relatively small price to pay for getting the game on in these testing time. So, whether you intend to play, or to spectate, please take note of the attached.

All our fixtures are now on the website. These are subject to change as clubs decided whether they are happy to play under the restrictions. To date, all of our Sunday fixtures are confirmed as going ahead. The Saturday HEBL 'league' games are also going ahead as scheduled from Saturday 18th July. So we can make up half a league season, fixtures for 4th and 11th July will now be played on 5th and 12th September. The 'league' fixtures will be played as friendlies with no promotion or relegation. We also have some Sunday fixtures in September.

Sunday 12th July v. Ploughboys (home) 2pm start

Saturday 18th July v Nazeing Common 1st XI (home) 1pm start

Sunday 19th July  v Netteswell & Burnt Mill (home) 1pm start

Saturday 25th July v Hatfield Heath (away) 1pm start

Sunday 26th July Inter-club match (home) 1pm start

Note: President's Day on 26th July is cancelled for this season due to the Covid restrictions. We will arrange an inter-club match on 26th July.
