Junior Cricket Coaching on The Green IS BACK!!

Covid restrictions have now been lifted enough for us to restart our popular Friday night coaching sessions for boys and girls from 5 years.

I've attached a membership form for parents to complete and bring along to the sign-up evening this Friday 23rd April from 6pm.

The first full coaching sessions will take place on Friday 30th April.

The youngest group (and new comers) will run from 6pm until 7.15pm. The older group (approx 9-13 years and depending on ability) will run from 6.30pm until 8pm.

Friday night coaching cost is £55 per child. This includes all coaching and club social membership for your family.
We also have for sale the new Junior coaching shirts at £15. We encourage you to purchase these for your children. 

We are delighted to have retained the services of ECB qualified coaches Matt Billings and Brad Oakes. They will work under the direction of new club coach Salim Akbar. 

Our Junior programme has proved very successful in recent years with the current crop of older Juniors (14 upwards) now breaking into our senior teams. They train on a Thursday evening and have the brilliant experience of being coached and mentored by ex-England, Essex & Middlesex cricketer Owais Shah. Owais has helped to take them to the next level. We hope your children will enjoy their time at our club and follow in their footsteps and become the future of the club.

Now the boring bit... Covid is still with us and we must continue to keep our distance with each other. Hand cleansers will be available for everyone. The pavilion is closed for general use except using the toilet. Please make sure you use the NHS Covid 19 app to scan the QR code on entry to use the toilet. The honesty bar will be open from 30th April. We will nominate a few people to offer drinks at the door of the pavilion. It so important we keep up the good Covid practice for just a few more weeks. Hopefully by the end of June we'll be back to normal!
