Another busy week ahead

The Colin Bridge Villager's Cup 6-a-side tournament

This evening's 6-a-side tournament should be a great event. Along with a young MGCC team, Navestock, Abridge and Theydon Bois will be taking part. The round robin competition starts at 5.45pm. We're firing up the BBQ and Sara and Janet are on salad and dessert duty. Food and drink is just £10 per head so why not pop along and support our lads.

 Boardman's Davies Cup win

The 1st XI secured victory last evening away at Birchanger. Good batting from Riz, Wardy, JT and Has ensured we reached a respectable 143 for 8 in our 20 overs. Birchanger finished on 99 for 9 after some fine bowling from Spider. We progress to the next round on July 13th when we travel to either Thorley or Mole Hill Green.

Rain delays both Cup and Shield semi-finals

We are thrilled that both 1st and 2nd XI have reached the semi-final of each of the HEBL knock-out tournaments. After rain delays and a rather packed schedule, both matches are now scheduled for the same day – Thursday 1st July. The 1st XI face Hatfield Heath at home whilst the 2nd XI travel to Nazeing Common. Both matches start at 6pm. Please put the date in your diary and come along to either of the games to support our lads quest to reach both finals!
