ECB Foundation I Coaching Courses

Essex Cricket have announced some new dates for Coaching Courses. The courses are in Colchester and Leyton. There is no indication whether any will be run more locally in the foreseeable future. We are really keen to get as many people involved in this as possible.

Click below to see who this course is suitable for, what the commitment is and what you will achieve once you've completed the course. It is important to point out, you DO NOT have to be a regular player. It's therefore suitable for keen parents as well as established players.

You MUST be 17 or over and attend two dates, 2x3 hours modules on each day. The course cost is £150 per person. MGCC will pay for your course if you are a member! In return, you must make yourself available to help with various coaching requirements at the club. The qualification has many other benefits. It will put you on the pathway to further, more advanced coaching courses and you may be able to earn money coaching at other clubs/schools.

Ignore the message (if it's still there) on the Essex website saying courses are permanently postponed. That is incorrect. Graham Smith has confirmed to me today that the courses are very much live. BUT be quick! These courses are likely to be snapped up!!
