Match report Matching Green lost the toss and were put in to bat by Takeley.

After a fantastic half century the week before, Martin Figg returned to the more familiar position of opening the batting for the first time in at least a year. The skipper justified his position by batting most of the innings for a solid 66 leading Matching Green to a good total of 218 batting all 45 overs for only the second time this season.

A moment of silence was taken by Matching Green before they took to the field to commemorate Dutchy's Grandad who sadly passed away in the early hours of that morning.

An early wicket for Roosy and three for Joe Scanlon meant it was always going to be a hard chase for Takeley. On came JT, whose pace proved too much and with nine men behind the bat, he picked up five wickets from 9.1 overs and Takeley were all out for 157 from only 33.1 overs.
