Match report It was a disappointing start to the season as we lost our first Observer League Match by 8 wickets against Thorley.
MGCC batted first with Graeme Bowerman the main contributor with 51 to set the hosts a target of 169. With a typical April wicket both sides were unsure of the quality of 169 going into tea. However a great start by Bob Mills with a half century made the chase an easy one, with Thorley comfortably reaching the target with the loss of just two wickets and 10+ overs to spare.
