An afternoon of tight bowling, coupled with improved secure fielding restricted Buntingford to few chances to build a big score.

Tom Hobbs bowled well again without reward, Mick Bashford (10-3-18-1) and Matt Hartnell (10-1-28-2) were typically miserly, and a late cameo from Junior Bibby with 4 wickets saw myxomatosis spread through the Buntingford line-up. Alex Kilby, in great form behind the stumps, helped himself to 4 dismissals, and a target of 134 to win was set.

Peter Liversidge demolished everything the home side could send his way with an unbeaten 81 off of only 58 balls, and 21 from Simon Hartnell saw us home with less than 22 bowled.
