Graeme has just updated us on the arrangements for Peter and would like to pass on the following:
Most of you will know that Peter Bowerman died on 23rd July and that he “didn’t want a fuss”, so no funeral or memorial service.
He wanted his body to go to medical science & ‘anything they don’t want can go on the compost heap’. Unfortunately, due to reasons beyond his control, his body was not required. So, to honour his wishes he will be cremated with no service and his ashes will go on the compost heap.
We are going to celebrate his life with Afternoon Tea in Matching Village Hall on Friday 30th August at 2 p.m. We would love to see you then with to share any happy memories you have of him.
