Wow! What a fabulous turnout of the great and the good from the community, with over 60 people there to wish Gary the Postman a very happy retirement.

Gary came back to the club after everyone had left and he said who overwhelmed he was by the whole thing.

Thank you to everyone who baked a cake. They all looked delicious. The couple I sampled certainly were!

Thursday Club continues into October. There will be a small charge from now on. Just £1 for members and £2 for non-members. There's never been a better time to join as a social member!
