Match report The match was played on a gloomy and chilly evening at the green .Dawsy lost the toss again and that was his only job.Rickling decided to bowl , which was a strange decision as they only had 9 men at the start .They must wish they hadnt as Spider cracked 3 boundaries off the first over and he went on to score 17 in all , although not one six !!! , joking apart it must have been one of the best 20 over knocks ever seen at the green as he amassed a massive 114 not out .Well done Spider .Bibby bored everyone silly in a bid to support Spiderman , were there brown marks when Kiffy was bowling ?? .Once Bibbs had had enough Lordy came to the crease and was unable to upstage Spider and had to settle with a well struck 35 .With Rickling reeling with 2 balls to go and the score on 193 Sibbers sprinted (only joking) to the wicket and smashed a glorious 4 through the covers and then a 3 off the last ball to bring the score up to an unbelievable 200 for 2 .
Rickling had a go early doors with Gooday hitting Greeny for a zak or two .Greeny unimpressed decided to spin him round a few times before he was eventually given out lbw .Gooday was given a map on his way back to the changing room .Green ended up with 4 wickets and was very hostile .Sibbers and Seb bowled well and Matt Taylor trimmed up their old boys finishing with 2 for 1 , which he also had the night before from the supermarket .
A really good fielding performance , the highlight being a Bibby run out ....yes thats not a misprint he really did it !
Overall a really great performance by everyone apart from the skipper who couldnt even toss properly .
